A&C Construction Group started in 2025 as a design-build remodeling contractor serving Greater Christian County and the surrounding area. Allen & Claudia run the business together — Allen handles project management and field coordination, Claudia manages scheduling, material orders, and client communication. They started the company after years of working in construction and seeing too many projects fall apart because the designer and contractor weren't on the same page.
The design-build model means one contract covers design, materials, and construction. No coordination between separate designer and GC. You approve the layout and finishes, A&C orders and stages materials, then builds it. Most projects are residential — kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, flooring installs, decks and outdoor structures. The business also handles light commercial work like office build-outs and retail updates.
Every project starts with a site visit. Allen walks the space, measures, takes photos, and talks through what you want to change. Claudia follows up with material samples, pricing, and a detailed proposal that includes timeline and payment schedule. Once you approve, materials get ordered and staged, permits get pulled if needed, then the crew starts work. Allen is on-site daily to coordinate trades and handle any issues that come up. Claudia keeps you updated on material deliveries, inspection schedules, and any timeline changes.
Most kitchen remodels take 4–8 weeks depending on whether the layout changes. Bathroom remodels run 2–4 weeks. Whole-home projects are phased so you can stay in the house during construction — typically 10–16 weeks depending on square footage and scope.
